Come along and discover some of Marbæk´s rare plant species! 🌿🌸

When we slow down and sharpen our senses, we can discover a world beauty and fascination, where both wild orchids and carnivorous plants can be found!

Along the way, we will talk about the question:

"Why are some species threatened? And what can we do to help take care of them and their habitats?" 🌱

We will meet at the parking lot at Bopladsvej and go look for the beautiful wild orchid, "Plettet gøgeurt" (Dactylorhiza maculata or "Spotted-orchid"). Afterwards we will drive to Myrthue gård and continue to discover new and exciting plants in the Marvel Pit. We end the day with lunch. 🥪

Practical plant walk info

👩‍🏫 Guidance, storytelling, conversation, and flower observation will be provided.

🚶‍♀️ We will walk around for a few hours on varied terrain. This requires a moderate fitness level.

🔔 REMEMBER to bring: 🧣🥾🍎 clothing suitable for the weather, sturdy footwear with good grip, an extra layer if needed + water & lunch!
